Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about our online programs.

What’s included in each program?

Each program includes:

- Modules of educational reading and videos

- Video demonstrations of therapist-created at-home exercises

- Expert guidance to improve mobility and reduce discomfort

- PDF summaries of recommended exercise progressions

- A 30 minute monthly group progress call, led by an Innovative Physical Therapy clinician for guidance and questions

Do I need any special equipment?

Most exercises are designed to be done at home with minimal or no equipment. If anything additional is recommended, the therapist will provide guidance on at-home items that can be utilized, such as lightweight dumbbells, a theraband, and a stretch strap or belt (a towel can be substituted).

Who are these programs designed for?

These programs are designed for anyone who wants to stay active, mobile, and confident with structured guidance they can follow from home or while traveling.

Each program focuses on a specific body area — such as the neck, back, shoulder, or knee — and includes education, stretches, and exercises to support healthy movement and long-term consistency.

You do not need to be a current patient at Innovative Physical Therapy to benefit.

What’s included in the monthly group progress calls?

Monthly group progress calls are 30-minute virtual sessions designed to provide extra support in a group setting.

During these calls, participants can ask general questions, discuss common challenges, and receive guidance to help them feel more confident with the program. These calls are a helpful way to stay connected, supported, and on track.

How do the Full Body private coaching sessions work?

The Full Body private coaching sessions are 30-minute virtual calls with one of our clinicians, scheduled at convenient points throughout your program year. These six private sessions are designed to provide personalized support, help you stay accountable, answer questions, and guide your progress through the program. You can schedule them strategically throughout the year so you have ongoing support as you continue building strength, confidence, and consistency.

Is this the same as physical therapy treatment?

No. These online programs are educational exercise programs designed to provide guidance, structure, and support. They are not a substitute for an individual physical therapy evaluation or medical care. If you have a new injury, worsening symptoms, or specific medical concerns, we recommend consulting with a licensed healthcare provider.
